Prepare to dig your teeth into something fantastic. If you’ve never tried roasted grapes, you must do so immediately. They end up juicy, sweet, and nothing short of fantastic after being coated in olive oil and a couple spices then roasted until they caramelize and explode. One of my favorite things to eat on top of fresh ricotta and crusty bread.
Save some grapes the next time you are shopping, or better yet, buy an additional package. One of the greatest methods to use up grapes is to roast them in the oven.

- Seedless red grapes (or green, or a combination)
- Olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Fresh thyme
How to Make Roasted Grapes
It just takes three steps to prepare roasted grapes:
- Clean the grapes. Wash and dry the grapes.
- Spread on a baking sheet and season. Spread grapes onto a non-stick sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Lay thyme leaves over top. Toss all together gently with your hands.
- Bake. Roast in a preheated 450F oven for about 15 minutes until the grapes just begin to burst.
Roasted Grapes Proper Storage
Roasted grapes are best served immediately after roasting, but if there are any leftovers, store them in an airtight jar in the refrigerated for up to 4 days.
What To Do With Roasted Grapes
So you prepared roasted grapes. What are we going to do with them now? Here are some suggestions:
- Add them to peach flatbread or Hawaiian pizza.
- Make them part of an antipasto charcuterie board.
- A spoonful over grilled chicken breast or grilled flank steak is wonderful.
- Topped on a baked sweet potato is heaven!
- Over yogurt and granola for a healthy breakfast or even dessert.
- Use them on baked puff pastry.
- Serve over crostini with homemade ricotta is my absolute favorite!
