Cooking appliances like air fryers are incredibly flexible and are capable of much more than just frying meals.
There is an improved and more effective method of reheating leftover steak than using the conventional oven.
How do you re-heat steak in an air fryer? Convection cooking, which is significantly superior at evenly heating food from all sides, is used in air fryers in the same manner as it is in ovens. The majority of air fryers can be used to reheat the steak at 320°F for 5 minutes or at 380°F for 2-3 minutes on each side.

REHEATING STEAK IN THE AIR FRYER
One of those foods that is typically not that good the next day is steak. Until I tried to reheat steak in my air fryer, that is.
As you are surely aware, warming leftover steak in the oven or microwave will result in rubbery, unpleasant beef. It can be heated up in the oven, although it takes a while.
However, if you use an air fryer to reheat leftover steak, it will turn out properly the second time around in less time than it takes for your oven to preheat.
Air frying is also a great way to cook steak, check out my recipes for air fryer steak and air fryer steak bites. If you have never tried it before, it is really quick and easy compared to shallow frying or grilling.
Step 1: Remove steak from the refrigerator and pat dry. Give the steak a light spray or brush with olive oil.
Step 2: For a couple of minutes, preheat the air fryer to 380°F/190°C. This is crucial because you don’t want the steak to overcook on the outside before the middle has warmed up, so you want the air fryer to be hot when you put it in.

Step 3: Put the steak in the basket of the air fryer. Place your steak pieces in a single layer if you plan to reheat more than one piece. To guarantee that the hot air can reach the entire steak and uniformly reheat it, make sure the steaks are not touching one another.
Step 4: Air fried the leftover steak for 2-3 minutes at 380°F/190°C. Check the internal temperature of the steak after each interval, flip it over, and keep reheating it until the thickest section reaches at least 110°F/43°C.
Step 5: Top with garlic butter or your steak sauce of choice and enjoy!
STORAGE AND (RE)REHEATING
Only reheat the amount of steak you intend to eat in one sitting as it is not advised to reheat steak more than once.
If you accidentally heated up too much steak, you can keep it in the fridge for up to two days in an airtight container and eat it cold as a snack.
